SOUNDGARDEN's CHRIS CORNELL Furious Over 'Stolen'-Wedding-Video Ad
January 5, 2010According to the New York Post, SOUNDGARDEN frontman Chris Cornell and his wife, Vicky, have threatened to sue Craiglist after discovering their wedding video was being offered on the classified-advertising web site as macabre "lost" footage of dead starlet Brittany Murphy, who was a maid of honor at their 2004 ceremony. Cornell reportedly claimed the video was stolen, prompting the popular site to remove the video from sale. A source told the New York Post, "The video features behind-the-scenes wedding moments, many of Brittany Murphy." Cornell apparently asked Craigslist to hand over details of the seller, arguing that it's a federal crime because it's considered stolen copyright.
Murphy died in December at the age of 32 after going into cardiac arrest.
